Kim Olson-”The Next Generation Realtor” in Denver Colorado!
It’s never easy to talk about yourself, but when it comes to real estate I can say I finally found the career I’ve been training for over the last ten years! I’ve been in mergers & acquisitions, marketing for a large pharmaceutical company and working in property asset management. I really started down the path into real estate when I was ask to find properties in the 90’s going into foreclosure. It wasn’t an easy job, but it was wonderfully rewarding to take a home in need of attention and turn it into a dream home for a lucky buyer.
I graduated with an International Business Degree in 1997 from the University of Oklahoma and had the good fortune to spend a semester abroad studying at the Sorbonne in Paris, France. You think college can be a challenge here, try having to understand and articulate your opinion of business in another language. On the upside, I really had an opportunity to experience firsthand how our countries culture differs from many countries in Europe. So, I can honestly say, I understand what individuals experience when relocating, not only from abroad, but different areas of the United States.
You might be asking yourself what makes me different from all the other pavement pounding Realtors in the Denver metropolitan area? My personal opinion would be my level of energy, enthusiasm and knack for "thinking outside the box" in regards to how I market a listing or prepare a buyer for their next purchase. I know I must be doing something right, because my listings on average are on the market for about 3 months from listing date to offer on the property. In large part, I would have to say that my unyielding promotion of my listing via the web, board meetings and simple word of mouth constantly keeps the homes I represent in front of the real estate community.
I know, that to date, all my clients have repeatedly commented that they enjoy my fun, upbeat attitude and fresh prospective on the real estate market. I haven’t personally experienced this "down market" that I hear others talking about all the time. If your home is priced correctly, staged to perfection and the marketing is top notch…your home will sell in a timely manner. That is why it is so important to choose the right Realtor for you. If you’re a Buyer, the same philosophy applies, find a Realtor that recognizes your needs, assist you with your search (no one should be looking at 100’s of homes) and that you trust to represent your interest in the negotiations.
Well, I’m sure I could go on for hours writing about real estate, but I think you get the idea…so if you’re looking for a Realtor to list your home or help you find your next residence or investment (including Commercial), give me a call…it would be my pleasure to "interview" for the position! If you want to start your search on your own, please use our free MLS Search Engine. I hope to hear from you soon, so give me a call 303.389.9700.
